Daimler Financial Services Americas (DCFS USA,LLC) has moved its Mercedes-Benz Financial and Truck Financial business units into a free-standing building in Farmington Hills, Mich., after the transfer of assets of its Chrysler Financial business unit to Cerberus Capital Management in August 2007.

Klaus Entenmann, President and CEO of Daimler Financial Services,said approximately 400 employees of the company have moved to an existing four-story office building at 36455 Corporate Drive,along 12 Mile Road between Drake and Halsted roads.The company is the sole tenant of the 153,000 square-foot building, which can house up to 650 employees.The building’s interior was built by Synergy Group,Inc.of Bloomfield Hills,MI in just eight weeks.

The new location in Farmington Hills was built for the corporate staffs supporting Mercedes-Benz Financial and Daimler Truck Financial, including Finance, Controlling, Risk Management, Audit, Communications, Human Resources,Information Technology, Legal and other departments.

Kojaian assured Daimler Financial the project could be done to accommodate the move requirements linked to the transaction.

Synergy Group Chief Operating Officer E.“Pete”Petrella and his team accepted the extreme corporate makeover challenge, working closely with Daimler Financial facilities staff as well as their architect and Synergy’s alliance with key subcontractors.
