Synergy has won numerous competitively bid projects in the government sector. We have successfully completed City Hall Complexes for the City of Eastpointe, Keego Harbor and have built DPW facilities. We have worked with other municipalities on infrastructure upgrades, HVAC replacements and Court House upgrades. Synergy was chosen to build a Airfield Rescue Fire Fighting Station for Detroit Metro Airport on a design-build basis with federal funding mandating the project be completed in just 90-days. Based on the success of the project Synergy again was chosen in competitive bidding by the Wayne County Airport Authority to construct three separate buildings for police, fire and homeland security training at the airport.
Synergy routinely works with municipalities on zoning and planning issues with our developer clients. In a recent collaboration, we worked closely with a suburban Detroit city to help build a project on a tight deadline that would preserve more than 400 jobs in the City of Farmington Hills. The catch, the 153,000 s.f. demolition and buildout had to be started and finished within an eight week period. Working closely with the owner, City inspectors and the architect the project was completed with praise from its occupants – Daimler Financial.
